General Purpose Disinfactants for Dialyzer
Product Description
A general-purpose disinfectant for dialyzers is a chemical antimicrobial solution used to clean and decontaminate dialyzer units and associated dialysis equipment during reprocessing. Its primary function is to reduce or eliminate microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi from the dialyzer surfaces and internal pathways, ensuring safe reuse and preventing cross-contamination in hemodialysis treatment.
These disinfectants are typically applied during the cleaning and pre-disinfection stage and may also assist in removing organic residues (blood, proteins) and mineral deposits. They are formulated to be compatible with dialyzer membranes and medical-grade materials, ensuring effectiveness without damaging the device.
Features:
- Broad-spectrum antimicrobial (kills bacteria, viruses, fungi)
- Suitable for dialyzer reprocessing
- Compatible with dialysis materials (non-damaging)
- Effective at low concentrations
- Cleans and disinfects (removes blood/protein residues)
- Fast-acting
- Stable with good shelf life
- Safe for controlled medical use
